Hi Abiy
I would like to appreciate your interest to have knowledge about Federal Inland Revenues Authority. However, the authority is no longer exist as a standalone institution. It is merged with two other government institution via: Ethiopian Customs Authority and Ministry of Revenues to form Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority since 2008. But, if you are interested about ERCA's structure, feel free to keep in touch with me.
Regards!
I

Hi Abiy
Thank you for your visit to our website.
Post Clearance Audit /PCA/ is a process by which the authority can verify the accuracy of customs declarations through the examination of the books, records, business systems and other relevant customs commercial data held by persons directly or indirectly involved in the import or export after the release of goods. The main purposes of PCA in ERCA are:
1.To establish the extent of risk or risks and quantify any errors which may have arisen
2.To improve future compliance
3.To support those who wish to comply and
4.To deter non-compliance.
Therefore, PCA is conducted to assure that businesses subject to customs controls comply fully with all relevant legislation and requirements so as to benefit ERCA, importers, exporters and citizens at large.
Regards!
